Welcome

Welcome to David Ellis Academy-West, a tuition-free public school academy located in Redford, Michigan. We provide a high quality, rigorous curriculum to students in preschool through eighth grade.

Because of our high standards and dedicated teachers, our enrollment has increased steadily each year since our inception. Today DEA-W boasts an enrollment of more than 750 students and 50 employees.

We know you’ll find our school an amazing place for your child to learn. We offer many programs to benefit and enrich our students including foreign language instruction, before and after school latchkey services, all day Montessori based kindergarten, special education resources, and many sports and after school activities.

We hope you’ll spend some time on our website getting to know us. We lead by example and set high standards for our students. We know we are educating tomorrow’s leaders.
